As a pivotal equipment for cooling down the temperature of drilling fluids, mud cooler mainly used in drilling rig system to ensure stability and functions of drilling instruments. During drilling operation, Overheated drilling fluids could severely effect the accuracy and stability of rotation directional tools including LWD / MWD. To upgrade those tools and equipment will arouse cost surging in drilling. To settle the above issues, the common practice currently is cooling down the drilling fluids while solids control recycling. After temperature of drilling mud reasonably cool down, it will be pumped to well through drilling rod, and return to mud tank on surface ground via gaps between drilling rod and wall. With continuously low temperature drilling mud pump into the well, it could forms low temperature circumstance to protect drilling operation and ensure the accuracy and functions of drilling tools and instruments.
